Victoria Fatu

Pianist Victoria Fatu is recognized internationally for performances of deep musical expression, charismatic temperament and sparkling technique. She showed an early interest in the arts, as she began singing at age three and studying piano at age eight, ultimately completing her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees at the Moscow State Conservatory in Russia.

Victoria has scored victories in numerous international competitions and received multiple grants from major music foundations including First Prize at the AMSA World Piano Competition for Young Pianists in Cincinnati, Second Prize at the 2007 Young Concert Artists Competition (New York City), the Excellence Prize by the President of the Russian Federation in both 2001 and 2002 and the "Youth of the Century Award," among others. Her name was added to the “Golden Book of Russian Federation” by the President. She has appeared in solo recitals and performed with symphonies around the World, most recently in the United States as a soloist at Carnegie Hall.

After a hiatus to start a family, Victoria recently moved to Los Angeles, and now under new management, is excited to reintroduce the classical music world to the passionate artistry of her musical performances.

To meet her uncompromising standards, Steinway & Sons has always been the instrument of choice for Victoria’s performances and the brand she chose to purchase for her personal collection. She is excited to be embarking on a new artistic relationship with this historic and innovative company.
